Week 41

 もっとレッスンを日本語でしよう!

What a week! I would honestly love to talk about everything that happened. But man of man, we are busy! Instead I'll just describe the work here :).

We have started street contacting, but the majority of success has come through LINE. LINE is a social media that is super popular in Japan. Through this and Facebook and HelloTalk, we find people who want to hear our message.

We are teaching and setting up appointments for about 10+ people. A healthy mix of new members, returning members, members, and non-members! It is busy, busy, busy here!

Through that, we have a good amount of lessons a week. A couple a day is the goal and we are going to reach it haha :).

Along with that, I've been able to really improve on the language. 日本語は難しいことができるけど、異言の賜物が実際にあります. But, it's still really difficult! But our mission president, President Halvorson, promised us that if we memorized a paragraph a day from the Japanese pamphlets and then applied them to our many lessons a week, that we would experience accelerated learning. So I've been trying to strive in that regard.

Haha, I'm not gonna lie, there's so much on my mind that I can't write it all down. So seriously, email me! If I have a specific question haha, I will probably be able to answer :).

But I'm so glad, every week to be on my mission and to be emailing you all! Remember that we are all going through something and that everyone is a Child of God. I recommend a listen to the 2022 YSA devotional with President Nelson. It was amazing and he talked about many things that apply to us as young people and for everyone!

Take care and have a blessed week!
