The Power of Prayer is real
I testify that God hears prayers.
This past Saturday was an interesting one. We met with someone and then their dad came halfway through and was super angry with us and made his son come home. We then had some okay streeting around town (meeting people right on the street to see if they want to hear the message of Christ and His gospel). We then were in the park and prayed for help. We prayed knowing that even though the day seemed not that great, we had a great privilege to be missionaries and to serve Jesus Christ. We prayed for guidance in that prayer and we couldn't even finish it when a guy that we talked to earlier that day interrupted us and then started talking. We ended up giving a Book of Mormon and finding a very interested 20yr old. Talked to a Vietnamese guy that we might talk to next Sunday. And then afterwards talked to this inactive member from Hawaii that might come to our ping pong activity. God is real!
We had several of those experiences this past week and the amount of potentials that we have been finding has been great. God really is leading His work. I know it is not mine or Elder Noda's or even my mission president's. This is Christ's work and because of Him we can live and love and participate in the greatest work on Earth! The gathering of Israel on both sides of the veil!
Things are hard, we doubt ourselves, mess up. But our Savior overcame all of that. He overcame all of your and mine mistakes. Trust in Him!
I'm praying for you all! Love ya!
