God lives
I know and testify that God lives!
We had a great Fast Sunday where we as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints fast for 2 meals or 24 hours.
We felt prompted to go to a park that day before dinner. So we climbed up the hill to the park and we find an inactive member that we talked to 3 weeks ago! He sadly doesn't believe anymore, but it was so cool to have that experience. We asked God to help those that need him and we were led to him!
We testified of the miracle of meeting and of God's love for him. We were talking about the love of God and just the truth of His existence when then Elder Noda shared an experience with me. He said about 3 weeks ago I was snoring like crazy (I sleep talk and do all sorts of things in my sleep, I've become quite notorious on the Mission because of exchanges
). And Elder Noda being the very polite companion didn't want to wake me up, so he prayed. He prayed that I would stop. He ended. And then I stopped!
). And Elder Noda being the very polite companion didn't want to wake me up, so he prayed. He prayed that I would stop. He ended. And then I stopped! What a simple prayer. But God loves us enough to answer even small prayers in time of need. He loves that inactive member we meet in the park to have us go there and testify of God's love to him.
And He loves us to answer those most important questions. And I had a grand question for that fast Sunday. I prayed for humility and strength that my heart would be changed and willing to let Christ in more.
And I realized that God answered many other prayers that day, including my own.
We taught a family, a dad and a son which was great. We had a lot of planning and have been applying it with our members, making a dendo (missionary work) plan with each members according to their situations.
We had a great Sabbath as I talked about and this week is transfers! This transfer literally wasn't there. I feel like it just started. But it's time to start the last and best transfer. I have literally changed and learned so much in this past transfer. God loves me and all of you!
I can see me staying here this last transfer. I can also see myself going somewhere else. But wherever it'll be, it'll be God's will.
I'm excited to tell you all about the next 6 great weeks!
Love you all!
Elder Robertson
